History Model chooser

Terms of Service

1. Who can use Clipry AI

You have to be at least 13 years old. If you are between 13 and 18, or your local age of majority, you need a parent or guardian to be okay with you using this. You can use the service without an account. If you sign in, you do it through Google, Microsoft, or Yahoo, so your account security is tied to whichever provider you picked. Do not share your account or use someone else's.

2. What Clipry AI is

You give us a link or a file. We fetch it, send its content to one or more language models, and give you a summary and transcript. The service is a reading aid. It is not a substitute for the original source.

3. AI output is not reliable on its own

Language models get things wrong. They miss context, invent details, and misattribute quotes. Summaries from Clipry AI can be incomplete or simply incorrect. Do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial, safety, or any other consequential decision without checking the original source. You are responsible for verifying anything that matters.

4. What you submit

Anything you upload stays yours. You are not transferring ownership to us. You give us permission to store it, process it through our own systems and the third-party model providers listed in our Privacy Policy, show it back to you, and serve it to anyone you give a share link to. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to backups, legal holds, and abuse records.

You confirm that you have the right to submit what you submit, and that analyzing it does not break the law or somebody else's rights.

5. What you can't do

6. Rate limits and fair use

Guests get a limited number of uploads per hour and signed-in users get more. We apply request rate limits to keep the service responsive. These limits can change without notice. If your usage threatens the service for everyone else, we may throttle or block it.

7. Share links

Every analysis gets a long, random address that works without signing in. If you send that address to someone, they can read the analysis. Treat share links like keys. If you delete the analysis, the link stops working.

8. Third-party content and sources

Clipry AI summarizes pages we do not own or control. We do not endorse them and we are not responsible for what they contain. Copyright in the original stays with whoever owns it. Summarizing a page for your own reading is not permission to republish the original.

9. Enforcement

If you violate these Terms, we can remove content, throttle or block your access, suspend or terminate your account, preserve evidence, and report the issue when required by law. For a first minor violation we will usually contact you first. For illegal material or attacks on the service, there may be no warning.

10. Service availability

We try to keep Clipry AI up. We do not promise 100% uptime. It may be unavailable during maintenance, upgrades, provider outages, or events outside our control. Model providers change, get slower, or go down, and that affects us. Keep your own copy of anything irreplaceable.

11. Changes to the service

Features, limits, supported sources, and the models behind the summaries can change at any time.

12. Trademarks and our code

"Clipry", the Clipry logo, and the design of this site are ours. These Terms do not give you any right to copy our branding or run a competing service on our code.

13. No warranties

The service is provided "as is." We do not promise it is accurate, bug-free, perfectly secure, or fit for any specific purpose. You use it at your own risk.

14. Limit of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data or revenue, or any decision you made based on an AI summary. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you have not paid us anything.

15. Indemnification

If what you submit, or what you do with this service, gets us sued, investigated, or threatened with a claim, you agree to defend us and cover the costs.

16. Changes to these Terms

We will update these Terms when we need to. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email. If you keep using Clipry AI after a change takes effect, you have accepted the new version.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Minnesota.
